Box Assemblages by Peter Riedel

We found these amazing Box Assemblages or "Art Boxes" inside a Lake Claire Estate.  Here is a bit of background on what was inside the artist's mind...From junkyards to backyards, Peter Riedel's raw materials are carefully gathered, sorted and finally married inside the framework of an art box. Each three-dimensional collage invites the viewer to ponder and interpret its individual juxtaposition of objects. Compositionally, the art boxes read from the inside outward as well as from the outside inward; each box being a unique world unto itself as well as referential to the universe beyond.

Hello Dear!

Ok, this is too cool!  We picked this up last week at an amazing local estate sale.  We found this in a back shed.  This wonderful piece of art, would look amazing in a lake house, mountain cabin or right here at home. Come see how it looks on squirrel's walls.

Dream Cabin

We found this sweet hand-made wood cabin and three deers at a Medlock Park estate.  We lucked out and found loads of original finds at this estate.  The owner was a wonderful wood worker.  We picked up a one-of-a-kind book shelf with beautiful rounded sides, unique wood bowls, and much more.
